My Story

Hello!

I was born in France and have been working in the pharmaceutical industry since 2007. My career initially took me to Belgium, where I spent 11 years with major pharmaceutical companies. After unexpectedly falling for an American expat, we decided to relocate to Houston, Texas, in 2018. Currently, I work for a multinational company, supporting sites across America, Europe, and Asia. My diverse experience spans several departments, providing me with a deep understanding of manufacturing, quality, and supply chain processes.

While in Belgium, I benefited from career coaching, which helped me refine my approach to managing others' tasks. These sessions taught me to value different strengths and priorities, fostering greater patience and understanding.

During my first year in Houston, while waiting for my work permit, I focused on building my network through volunteering, recognizing the vital role it plays in professional success. Over the past four years, I’ve also taken on the role of a coach, helping colleagues achieve their career goals and navigate personal challenges, including work-life balance, overcoming fears, and expanding their networks.

I identify as gay and am happily married to my husband of six years. We have a one-year-old daughter. I've been in the US for 6 years now, and can confirm that my integration was successful, I have joined several communities (sport, work, gay families, spiritual). Initially, I was hesitant to openly discuss my sexuality at work, but over time, embracing my true self has strengthened my confidence. I found that my colleagues valued my contributions regardless of my personal identity.
